HRAP-SHATEC Conducts Digital Marketing Workshop

A Workshop that takes A Practice-based Approach learning.  The 3-day Workshop ( Apr 29 to May 01, 2019) held at the Bayview Park Hotel was participated by HRAP member hotels, restaurants and schools. 

The Workshop is for  anyone who is keen to learn to ride on the use of the digital platform to market one's property and sevices in our fast moving Hospitality Industry.

Digital Marketing for Hospitality Professionals

Social Media and the internet has disrupted the way business interacts with consumers. And the digital marketing using social media platform has revolutionized all industries, hotels and restaurants is no exception. The millennial and younger generations are our new consumers. The hospitality industry have already begun attracting these new age band, using search engines and social media as their stepping stone from which they make their decisions.

Digital marketing is now being an integral part of the marketing strategy for the hospitality industry. In the past few years, almost every hotel and restaurant business is participating wisely in digital marketing to gain a competitive advantage and to tap its potential benefits.

The Hotel and Restaurant Association of the Philippines with SHATEC, The International Hotel & Tourism School (Singapore), conducts a 3-day course to inform participants the fundamentals of digital marketing in the hospitality industry and provides insight into different types of digital marketing channels.

The workshop also provides hospitality professionals the opportunities to explore the different tools and metrics used in search engine optimization and marketing as well as highlights the strategies for email marketing, reputation management and service recovery.

This workshop is designed for executives in the hotel industry who have to manage social media platforms and individuals from the hospitality industry who wish to deepen their knowledge and skills in the area of digital marketing. Managers and Executives from departments such as Marketing Communications, Public Relations, Front Office, and Reservations department would find the programme useful and insightful.
